For almost two years he was Deputy Personnel Manager in a medium-sized company in the Philips Group and in addition also assisted the training of employees.
Thereafter, he was Marketing Training Manager at Reemtsma for 28 years.
Planning, organisation and the conducting of employee and management seminars are central to his work. Beyond this, he also worked in other areas of the company as Trainer, Coach and Workshop Facilitator. The organisation of conventions, seminars for Reemtsma’s clients and in-house Trainer Instruction rounded off his areas of responsibility.
He took the opportunity to work externally and over the years has worked with a number of companies on topics ranging from rhetoric, personality and team development, leadership, selling and dealing with complaints to orientating a company to the future.
He is married and lives with his wife and dog in Bad Bramstedt.
Experience takes centre stage in my seminars. I pick people up from where they are and bring them to where they want to be. The participants are given the chance to recognise their opportunities, sound out their limitations and experience themselves afresh.
Openness and honesty in dealing with people are shaped by a positive basic attitude. To exemplify this and get it across is my perennial concern. But so are encouragement and exertion. Because training is practice, experiencing, implementing and challenge!
Face forward: this isn't just a notional mindset, it's the visible guarantee for success in dealing with people. Whether it's in sales, at a presentation or a speech, we show what we can do and don't try to hide what we can't do.
I like to demonstrate the possibilities of how everyone can cope better with themselves and situations in order to more easily achieve their goals. Because only those who get on with themselves can get on with others, too.
The objective of all seminars is for an individual to recognise their own potential to go forward boldly, to achieve greater self-confidence via my support and the feedback of fellow participants and their own reflections, and to improve their skills. Decision guidance for self-development, strengthening of self-confidence and reorientation of attitude all lead to behaviour that heightens the effect of personality.
The decision to work as a Trainer and Coach with E>V was a simple one for me. Because the basic idea of attitude orientation matched the principles of my own seminars and confirmed my conclusions drawn from many years of experience in working with people.
